About Cookie Clicker

Cookie Clicker starts as one cookie per click and ends with a production line of grandmas, portals and time machines baking while you sleep. The joke is that it never stops being satisfying: every upgrade is a visible jump in a number that was already ridiculous, and the game keeps inventing new orders of magnitude to reach for. It is the game that gave the whole idle genre its shape.

How to Play Cookie Clicker

  1. Click the big cookie to bake cookies.
  2. Spend cookies on cursors, grandmas and farms — they bake for you.
  3. Buy upgrades; they multiply what you already own rather than adding to it.

  5. Ascend once growth stalls to start again with a permanent bonus.
